Hierarchy Slicer

I've a hierarchy slicer for year and date as a dropdown with multi select option. When the use select single date then the slicer is displaying like the attached screenshot. Just checking if there's any altenate method to show only slected pae. Note that I don't want to use sepertae slicer for year and date. It has to be in the same slicer. Thanks
