Hierarchy Slicer sync workaround

Hy guys,

Can somebody give me an idea about how to implement a workaround for not beeing able to sync an Hierarchy Slicer thorugh the entire report?

I have a report with one page filled with aggregated visualisations and a couple of detail pages for each aggregation.

I'm using the drillthorugh functionality on each "master" visualisation and I would like to keep the hierarchy slicer selection.

I have some good news for you.

In Power BI Desktop June 2019 Feature, Sync slicer support for hierarchy slicer.

Now, you could use Hierarchy Slicer sync.

For "Hierarchy Slicer" is third-party custom visual, It is not available that Hierarchy Slicer sync in different page for now.

As a workaround, you could use built-in slicer and the use Synchronize slicers across report pages

Thanks for the answer.

Unfortunately I need a Hierarchy Slicer and not a regular one.

My question was if somebody has a workaround for this issue until they develop the sync for the Hierarchy Slicer.

According to my knowledge, I'm afraid that there is no workaround for the sync for the Hierarchy Slicer for now.
