Hiding data pbix file

Hi Everyone

I am having a .pbix file which I need to share with may people. I want people to see only charts and not underlying data in data view. Also they should not see relationship and data view options.

As a workaround, you can create embed codes with "Publish to web" on PowerBI service.

When you create an embed code using Publish to web, the report is made visible to Internet users. It's publicly available, so you can expect viewers to easily share the report through social media in the future. Users view the report either by opening the direct public URL or viewing it embedded in a web page or blog without any Powerbi license.

@rgadiraju555  you can also check for Power BI Template file which usually hides actual data.  Link is below:

Hey @rgadiraju555 ,

this is not possible, as you can consider the pbix file being the source code.

You just can achieve what you want by sharing your insights using a Power BI app: What is a Power BI app? - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

@rgadiraju555 , pbix is a development file(Power Bi desktop is a development tool), You should always share via power bi service

Hi amitchandak,

Many thanks for your comments. I have a peculiar problem as my users are not having power bi pro license , thats why I am sharing them complete pbix file. Do you suggest any other way I can do it?
