Hidden Visual-Level Filter Not Showing in Filters Pane – Data Stuck on 2012

I am facing a strange issue in Power BI Desktop (not Service). I have a bowling stats report that was working perfectly until yesterday. Now, my table visual is only showing data from the year 2012, even though:

1. No year filter is applied in the Filters pane (it shows "Add data fields here")
2. My slicer for Year/Season is set to "All" and shows all available years
3. My measures and Field Parameter are correct and were working before

Screenshot attached showing:

- The visual shows "Year is 2012" under "Filters and slicers affecting this visual"
- But the Filters pane has nothing under "Filters on this visual"

What I have already tried:
- Cleared all slicers (clicked eraser on each)
- Checked all filter locations: visual, page, report
- Checked Bookmarks (none exist)
- Checked Drillthrough (no active drillthrough)
- Checked Sync slicers (none synced)
- Checked Visualizations pane fields – Year is not in Columns, Rows, Tooltips, or Filters
- Restarted Power BI Desktop
- Created a new page and copied the visual – same issue persists

Question:
Where is this hidden "Year is 2012" filter coming from, and how do I remove it? The filter is clearly affecting my visual but is not visible anywhere in the Filters pane or Visualizations pane.

Hello @muhammedswaliha ,

I can see from your selection pane that there is a slicer hidden. Try to unhide it and check the slicer selection from that.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

It seems the filter is coming from visuals interactions.
Please click on visuals one by one and check Filters pane, if the year is selected in any of the visuals.

If the issue still persists, please share your pbix with sample data (removing sensitive information)
