Help - Creation of map municipalities Colombia
Good day everyone!
I'm starting in Power Bi and I saw this video about the municipalities of Colombia, I have tried to recreate it in various ways but I have not been able to. For my work this option would be very useful since I currently use Excel but it has limitations with certain municipalities in Colombia.
If someone could help me with the database or how I can configure it to look like it is in the video, it would help me a lot.

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/finiterank/mapa-colombia-js/master/colombia-municipios.json

The process for creating the map (of shapes) is as follows:
1. You search for the Municipalities of Colombia file (it can be in .shp .geojson format or whatever you find). On the DANE website (on the geoportal) you can find them.
2. Then you go to a free tool like mapshaper.org and convert it to TOPOjson format (the only format that the shape map object accepts).
3. Open the shape map object and set it to custom map
In the file browser, you're going to select the TOPOjson map that you made into a mapshaper
3. Finally, you must look for a table that contains the DIVIPOLA by municipalities and the loads and power BI (this is done so that the DIVIPOLA field does martch with the implicit field it has). This DIVIPOLA puts it in location
At the end you should have a map like this:
This is the GDP:

Hello, excellent! Thank you very much for the explanation.
A question, to make a map of Colombia with the municipalities of San Andrés and Providencia included, but in large size, where can I find the .json?

After downloading the Json, how do I integrate with PowerBi? Do I charge them as data? Do I paste it into a root folder?

Good day, I also had this same doubt and found this post. I'm just starting in power bi, I was able to download the json and load the information and the map was generated
But let's say relate the data I need, let's say population or X value I have not been able to add them and generate the filter you have in the photo I could not generate.
I think it's a very basic question. 🙈
