Handling infinity value

Hi, friends!

Please, help me in my issue: I want to calculate the percent of fee in our company, but after calculation, I see only Infinity or Nan.

Could you please, clarify the reasons for this problem?

Thank you in advance!

@jakobcf4

Thanks for sharing your pbix. I think I've found the reason. It is a calculated column in your case, and the field dz or grs both can be 0, so you always get 0 or infinity. In you case, instead of calculated column, create a measure instead.

Measure = DIVIDE(sum(t3[dz]),sum(t3[grs]))

Are you not using the DIVIDE() function?

Hi!

When I use this function,  I see only "0" in results.

To have a better understanding on your scenario, could you give more specific details, such as sample data and measure dax?

Yes, of course!

I use function DIVIDE([dz];[grs])*100 , when dz (debt sum) and grs(grossrev) are integer datas.

I've added a few screenshots for better understanding.

After this process I see 0 as a result.

@jakobcf4

OK. Could you try to convert the measure type to "decimal number" and change the precision(3 in below snapshot) accordingly?

Still, doesn't work.

Is it possible to share the pbix file? You can mask sensitive data before sharing.
