HOW TO GET COUNTS OF EACH VALUE IN A CALCULATED MEASURE FOR USE IN OTHER VISUALS

Below is the measure I have created to identify if a client is New, Renewed, or Lost business.  However I need to get totals of this based on the time period selected by the end user.

I cannot put this into a calculated column because I would lose the ability to have my MinSelDate and MaxSelDate stay dynamic based on the end users selection.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?  Once again a calculated column is not an option.

Hey @Michaelbean21 ,

either the article about static segmentation Static segmentation – DAX Patterns

or dynamic segmentation Dynamic segmentation – DAX Patterns is providing all the information to tackle your challenge.

Regards,

Tom
