Hi,
I have watched a few tutorials online on how to group resuts in PowerBI.
In this situation I have over 1000 individual customers. I want to group their results in BINS however when I try to the only Group Type option available is List? It won't allow me to select BINS.
How can i change this? Do i need to change the data format or something?
Thanks,
Andy
hi @andykbba
When you say "bin" basically that will act on measure/quantitative not qualitative.
Like Sales,Profit etc. Bins is not for qualitative fields like customer names

Ritesh
Hi @ribisht17 ,
Thanks for your response. It is quantitative data that I am wanting to group. Could it be the amount of data? Is there a limit how much can be grouped or not really
Please check the data-type
Is it text ? Then you need to change the same to number
