Group by function DAX

Hi guys

I am new to Power BI but have been using SAP Business Objects for quite a few years...

One of my challenge is to replicate an existing Web intelligence(Webi) report in power BI for 'proof of concept' 

Here is a calculation in Webi which I am trying to reproduce in Power BI

=Count([Member ID]) In ([Region]) Where ([Member type]<>"ABC")

Here is what I am trying to use in Power BI as a first step...

Measure =  COUNT('Report 1'[Member ID]) groupby('Report 1'[Region) ...

but getting an error

Assuming you have following columns in your table and I'm assuming table name is "Member"

Region

MemberId

MemberType

Here is the DAX formula:

Member Count = 
CALCULATE(
COUNT(Member[MemberId]), 
Filter(Member, Member[MemberType] <> "ABC")
)

Drop table visual and put Region and Member Count in values and you will get member count by region where membe type is not equal to "ABC"
