Group bubbles on map chart into only one bubble with one combined value

Hi,

I hope to combine multiple cities into one and also see only one combined bubble with 1 value.

Is that available?

3 bubbles hope to combine

Now I've grouped them but still shown respective bubbles with the same values duplicated.

Hi @jeongkim ,

Power BI does not directly support combining multiple bubbles into one. However, you can achieve this by aggregating your data before creating the bubble map.

Summarize your data at a higher level (e.g., by region, city, or country) before creating the bubble map. Then, each bubble will represent the aggregated value for that area.

You can also use Azure map, consider using cluster bubble layers. These allow dynamic adjustments to granularity as users zoom in or out on the map. You can read this document: Add a bubble layer to an Azure Maps Power BI visual - Microsoft Azure Maps | Microsoft Learn

Create a calculated column or measure in Power BI that combines the values you want to group. Then use this combined value for your bubble map.

Finally, you can also go to Idea to post your thoughts: ideas
