I have a data set that contains multiple columns each with a specific role type, for each line i then have a different supplier and the rates that they offer for that role type.
| PM | Admin | Manager | Technician | |
| Supplier 1 | £50.00 | £50 | £100.00 | |
| Supplier 2 | £65.00 | £100.00 | ||
| Supplier 3 | £70.00 | £300.00 | £300.00 |
What i want to do is group the Roles into one group, so that i can use them as a filter in a chart. For example, the user can select just the Admin role and the visual shows the rates for that fo whichever supplier has provided them (in this example it would just show Suppliers 2 and 3).

The way to do this is to go to PowerQuery. Select the first 2 columns (Supplier and PM) and use Unpivot other columns. This will give you the result below:
Then you can use it as a filter:
