Graph Security Connector - Auto-Refresh failed - Re-authentication required
Hello,
currently we are using the Graph Security Connector to retrieve data about the Secure Score and Alert Policies. Unfortunately we need to re-authenticate the connector every couple of days, otherwise the auto-refresh fails.
Is there a way to stop this behaviour? We do not want to re-authenticate the every couple of days.

Hi SVAPowerBI
Does Auto-Refresh mean Schedule Refresh ?
The connection mode is Import when we use the Graph Security Connector to get data from Microsoft Graph Security API. Auto Page Refresh only supports the report with Direct Query connection mode. So I think Auto-Refresh should be Schedule Refresh in Power BI Service.
You only need to configure the credential to refresh your dataset if your data source is Microsoft Graph Security API.
Re-authenticate should be caused by credential expired.
So please re-authenticate couple of days to refresh your dataset.
For more details about connecting to Graph Security API.
Due to Graph Security Connector is a preview function, it will still have many defects.
You can submit a new idea to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.Best Regards,

Hello,
Thank you for your answer!
Yes, I mean Schedule Refresh. So there is no way to make the credentials not expire anymore?- AnonymousNot applicable
Hi SVAPowerBI
1. Access to the resource is forbidden
This error can occur because of expired cached credentials. Clear your internet browser cache by going signing into Power BI and going to
https://app.powerbi.com?alwaysPromptForContentProviderCreds=true. This forces an update of your credentials.
2. Data refresh failure because of password change or expired credentials
Data refresh can also fail due to expired cached credentials. Clear your internet browser cache by going signing into Power BI and going to
https://app.powerbi.com?alwaysPromptForContentProviderCreds=true. This forces an update of your credentials.
