Hello - I am trying to import a table from Google BigQuery into Power BI. Whenever I do, I get the following error message:
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (131) Unable to authenticate with Google BigQuery Storage API. Check your account permissions.
So far, it doesn't look like anyone knows why I'm getting this error message. This issue is only happening with some tables, others I am able to import. Additionally, I'm able to connect via DirectQuery, but need to import this data instead.
I have the most updated version of Power BI (December 2021). Anyone have any ideas why I might be receiving this error message for some tables and not others?
Hi, @ChrisFromOhio
I didn't find any related issues Internally. Do you have any operations in power query?
Can you use the import mode to connect before you upgrade the version?
Try to clear the permissions in the report and connect it again. Make sure the api input is correct.
Janey
