Google Analytics wrong data when many columns

Hi all.

When combining several columns, the data is off.

Example:

Table 1: Date, Sessions, Country, Medium

Table 2: Date, Sessions, Country

Table 3: Date, Sessions, Medium

Number of sessions when selecting the same month is not the same. Table 2 and 3 are the same number of sessions. But Table 1 is a higher number? Makes it hard to drilldown when not able to have all the info in one table!

Hi @Anonymous ,

As tested here,I found I cant find the column "Country" as you said in the post,

So how do you get the column" country" from google analytics?

Best Regards,

Hi!

The 4 columns are from:

Time --> Date

Sessions --> Sessions

Traffic Sources --> Source / Medium

Geo Network --> Country

So if I pick just

  • "Date" and "Sessions"
  • "Date" and "Sessions" and "Country"
  • "Date" and "Sessions" and "Medium / Source"

Then I get the same numbers. But if I mix up "Country" and "Medium / Source", then the number of sessions is higher per period?

  • "Date" and "Sessions" and "Country" and "Medium / Source"

That is weird  to me!
