Google Analytics Connector

Hi power BI community, 

anyone used the GA connector to develop dashboardson desktop?

I usually work with Tableau, and since the GA connector is not working properly, I have the same doubt for Power BI connector.

Is it good or is better to pass through google biq query?

Hi @federicavalle GA connector doesn't work fine all the time. As a workaround, I'll suggest you to make your connection with a 3rd party tool. I've tried windsor.ai, supemetrics (which doesn't have PBI as a destination, so you first have to export to Google Sheets and then export to PBI) and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the GA4 connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your GA4 account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your G4 fields:

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.

thanks! in my case i can use funnel.io or big query. Do you know if i need a specific license to develop to have fresh data directly using the funnel.io connector, maybe the pro license?

The Big Query connector works fine in my experience. I prefer using BigQuery over the GA connector, since i can write my own queries and get only the data I need for my reports (plus I can use a longer date range).
