Getting a trending line in graph.

I'm trying to get a trending average for a graph I created, but I used a (month/year) for a x axis and I'm having a hard time figuring out how.

The X is a Month/Year and the Y is a simple SUM for that month.

I believe it's a measure, but not quite sure how to get a running average to show say a trend (as the sum gets lower the average should be lower too).

Thanks!

Hello @Anonymous

Maybe the trendlines which are already available in bar chart will help you.

There is one called 'Average Line'. Image below

Hi @themistoklis

Thanks for the built in function, I have trewnds which will work (I'll look deeper in that) but I was thinking it would look something similiar to this (As you can tell I'm not doing so great with getting the correct values) -
