I checked the source and saw that the newly added column is present in the preview of one of the 2 merge sourse datasets.
I then checked the next step, in which i had expanded the 2nd dataset (as it was a Left Outer Join).
In there i saw that the new column was not marked for visibility. When i checked its box, the column became available.

@DevadathanK , You can again repeat the merge step. Or right-click on the table in data transformation mode and open Advance Editor. Take a back that script and add columns there.
Create a duplicate of your existing pbix and follow the below steps.
