Getting Hyperlink when importing data VIA API

Hi,

I have been granted access to a data using  Rest API, the program is used to track documents and each  document reference ( collum name is Reference) is a hyperlink in both the source application and when an excel download is perfromed, however as I am now able to access the same data through the API, I need to know if it is possible to get the hyoerlinks to be imported into BI at all?
