Solved! Go to Solution.
The issue was due to data type of the columns which we are using for joining the fact table and calendar table , I was trying to change data type from modelling tab which is not working ,however when changed from power query editor the error got resolved .
Hi @lbendlin ,
I am not sure of other data source, however this issue has been resolved.
From the error it seems like things has not been supported at source level(Specified method is not supported.), however issue was due to data type.
I was trying to change data type of joining field from the modelling view and it was not working out so i tried to change data type from power query editor and issue got resolved.

Do you see the same issue when the two Direct Query sources come from SQL Server (for example) rather than BigQuery?
