Hello,
I have some on java script that runs on a salesforce page and produces a html table of the data which can be copied and pasted into excel.
Is it possible to use java script to pull the data straight into Power BI and if so please can you post the dummies guide to try 🙂
Thanks
Ross
Hi @Anonymous
If a table is generated by html, you can try the solution in the following video. Sometimes it hasn't loaded web content completely before Power Query intends to scrab it, so this error occurs.
CSS not found on new Power BI web connector? 😬- Download 28 - YouTube
However, if a table is constructed dynamically with javascript or some other advanced methods, or it's embedded content from other applications, it's difficult for Power Query to scrab its content as there are no valid css selectors to identify the elements.
Your webpage seems in the latter scenario. You will need to use other tools to scrab the data. Or if there is any API provided by this website or it's possible to download the data from this page, maybe Power Query can connect to them with other connectors.

@mh2587 I've tried that but it doesn't pick up the table in the webpage. Probably, a salesforce restriction
Would you please give the details whats error occure or screenshot

Actually, got the page to come through using Add Table using examples, but no CSS
You can directly pull data in PBI through web connector in the get data option and just put the html page URL
