Hello
I have some reports with the same data structure in one folder. Naming pattern is following: 012019_6120, 022019_6120, etc. Each of the files has three sheets ("Comments", "Subledger", "Exceptions"). Every month I will add a new file designed with the same patterns (naming, sheets, etc.).
What I'd like to do is to import all of the files and all of the sheets to Power Query/BI at once. How can I do this? RIght now I noticed that I have to click "New source" -> "Folder" for every single sheet I have... is there a way to perform this on a group level?
Also - I'd like to see one extra column that will tell me from which file the data comes from.
thanks!
Marek
You are right @Anonymous , We can use the folder to import all the files at once.
You will just need to create some applied steps on power query.
Everytime you will more files to the folder, you will just refresh you report and it will automatically import the files.
Just make sure they have all same columns.
