Get Data Before the Date in a slicer
I am struggling with how do I get my data in a Table Visual to show only data that is based on a slicer date. So I put in the date, but I want all data that is before or on that date. That is my start date. Then I have an End Date, but I want that to be before or on that date or null.
Here is how I visualize the query for the data.
[Start Date] <= [Begin Date] and
([End Date] >= [Finish Date] or [End Date] = null)
How do I do that in Power BI Desktop?

I tried to use the date in the Table as a filter and used "is on or before" but I have to enter the date each time I use the report. I was hoping the slicer could give me the date to fill the filter.
