Generate a determination using a column from a different table

Hi all, your forum has been so incredibly helpful as I try to navigate this new to me program. I have an issue/challenge that has stumped me now for several days and I'm hoping you can help.

What I am looking to do is use a different column in a different dataset to I guess determine an output that is currently missing in the datasets that are being pulled in. Without a ton of context, here's a screen shot of my current setup and thoughts:

If you notice, the "TC" does not have any Tested values, or very few, and that's because that particular submitter doesn't have it listed in their output(and yes, I've asked, there's apparently no way to have that fixed on their end).

My theory is that I could somehow relate and then output the date tested/date started equivalency between the two tables and have that column having a value = "tested" in the status column? I'm not sure if that makes any sense, or not. The challenge I'm having is that I need to ensure that the CID, the lab and the date all match up to ensure accuracy of reporting.

Hi @shelikesrocks ,

Can you please share a pbix or some dummy data that keep the raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.
