Gateway computer

I have a question and I can't find the answer by reading the official documentation. Are there any Power BI settings that can only be accessed from the computer where the Gateway is installed? For example, in my team, we are able to do certain things only when we are using the computer where the gateway is installed. Can you explain the reason why? We tried using the same Microsoft account, but it still only works on the PC where the gateway is running.

@technolog-pbi , Gateway is getting the on-premise data. The setting comes from the file. Even if the file is published from another computer it should work. The problem can occur if the login details are changing
