Gantt Chart drill down

Question

Hi&nbsp;I hope someone can help.&nbsp;I am trying to use the Gantt chart tools with data from MS project, however as my plans are very detailed and have multiple layers I would like to be able to drill down through the data rather than have every task as a seperate line.&nbsp;I have tried the 3 Gantt chart tools in the market place but none seem to let me drill down, is there something I am missing or is there no current way to drill down in these visuals?&nbsp;Thaks&nbsp;Matt

I'm afraid it currently doesn't support drill down for Gantt Chart, you could submit an idea here.

Hi&nbsp;Thats a shame, thank you for your response.&nbsp;Is there a workaround possible, maybe using a matrix table with conditional formatted cells rather than the Gantt?&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;Matt

Brilliantly, you could use matrix as a workaround.

Hi&nbsp;Thank you for sending this thorugh, an interesting workaround&nbsp;However I was thinking of using the matrix table with conditional formatting to show where each task sits within the timeline. I have created something close to what I would like (see picture), however this uses assigned work &gt; 0 as a conditional format rule to colour cells with work in. Some of the tasks i track do not have assigned work so would need a similar field to have as values which is not resource dependent&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;Matt
