GIS map - why do unselected data points show up - also any easy way to refer to UK without adding longitude and latiutude for ever record

What's the meaning of "why do unselected data points show up"? Could you please share more details for further analysis?
For refer to UK without adding longitude and latiutude for ever record, you can just use the name, and set it as country category. I create a simple table including UK value, set its category as country, please see the screenshot shows below.
Then add it in GIS map, it shows the UK correctly.

I mean when nothing is selected some points still appear on the map.

There is no field used in the fields zone, many points still appear on the map. Could you please a screenshot for further analysis?
