Formatting of Matrix rows NOT drilled into

I've created a Matrix with multiple row levels. As I drill into a row, the remaining rows lose their formatting and default to bold black font. Kind of unsightly -- is there a way to adjust or custom format this? I'm using conditional formatting. I don't need that formatting applied to those rows, just want some control over how they look. Thanks.

Hi @bvy 

Due to I don't know your data model, I build a sample to have a test.

You may try to trun off the stepped layout in Row headers.

Result:

Currently there doesn't exist an option to control all row headers to keep default , and you can submit an idea for this option.

@bvy , are you having rules that apply when you drill, the values might not comply. Can you share rules

@bvy - Are you talking about as you drill in that the "grouping" or "summary" rows lose their formatting, correct?

@Greg_Deckler I think so. I'm saying if I have these rows at the top level: 

[+] Akron     1     5     6

[+] Berea     2     7    6

[+] Canton     2     4     6

[+] Dayton      2     4     5

If I click into Berea, the 1 5 6 for Akron (and rows for Canton, Dayton) drop the formatting and default to bold black.

@bvy Is it sub-totalling when you drill down? You can turn that off, if you go to the "Subtotals" section in the matrix formatting.

@DataZoe No. Subtotaing applies to the row being drilled into, and I have that turned off.
