So here is my scenario.
SSAS Tabular model database has my data.
Using Power BI to persent/vizualize my data.
I have Date columns that are coming from SSAS Tabular as 2019-01-15, but I'd like them to show up as mm/dd/yyyy.
I can't seem to find a way in Power BI to format the data that is connected via Live/Direct Query to SSAS tabular model.
Or is there something I'm missing in the SSAS Model to preformat the dates.

You should define the date format in SSAS model before loading data into Power BI. Please refre to: Formatting SSAS values (Live connection/explore live)
