Hi guys,
Any idea why a date column format is different when we see it in Edit Query ?
Table view :
Edit query :
So the next question is, if with different format like this, if I make a relation ship to other table with the date format is the one in Edit Query ? meaning, my other table (lets called it table B), there is a date column with format 1/1/2018, which I want to relate to this table (table A), however during create relationship, table A shows format as "Monday, January 1, 2018"
Thanks,

Hi @admin_xlsior ,
The data in the Power Query (Edit Query) only have the data type without data format, after the data been imported into data model, the data will be set as the default format, in this scenario, it is (dddd, MMMM d,yyyy).
The data format will not affect the relationship:
Best Regards,
Teige

Hi @admin_xlsior
When building the relationships the Data type is important, the Format not so much
