Forecasting won't work!

I'm trying to get a projected revenue for the next few months, but it doesn't seem to work.   While researching, it says it has to be on a line chart, with a number and a date.  So here is the scre...

    Hi, Anonymous 

    According to your description, I’ve also created some data to do some tests. Then I found that the forecast function will be enabled when you placed the entire Date hierarchy or the data column into the line chart(not the month part of the Date hierarchy), like this:
