Force Directed graph node colors

Hello,

I am using force directed graphs and trying to set colors for specific joins between nodes. I am using Link Type property to set colors. However, whatever hexadecimal color value I choose the diaply arrows are only black or green ?

Hi @amitkumar82

It is the default design of Force-Directed Graph visual. Here is the sample file for your reference. If you add the 'Weight' value, the arrows' colors could be changed.

HI,

Thank you for your response.

1. I was planning to put specifc colors for come nodes and the directions between them instead for some dynamic color.

2. Also I dont see option to add legends for graph.

3. The node color is also Grey. No option to modify that.

Hi,

Thank you for response.

Amit

I'm in the same situation; I have a column with only three values that I want to use to characterise the link, but the FDG will only use two colours; very frustrating; why can't it do what Power BI does elsewhere, and allocate colour automatically to values as they occur; naturally, colours only make sense if you have a small number of values, perhaps about 4
