I have a date hierarchy
year
quarterno
month mmm
date
value is a sales total measure
I want to drilldown and show a forcast on quarters
at the year level I can create the forcast, but as soon as I drilldown to the quarterno it disappears and I don't have the option on my analytics menu. How can I fix this?

I was using a hierarchy in a date table that was built from the date field. However this only seems to work with powerbi generated date hierarchies. Once I turned off the date table and powerbi autogenerated hierarchies for all the date fields I was able to use forcast with one of them.

| Week | Submission | Submitted | Forcast |
| W1 | 25 | 20 | |
| W2 | 35 | 23 | |
| W3 | 35 | 38.5 | |
| W4 | 25 | 38.5 |
Thanks
Hi @bsheffer ,
Ensure there is no fields in Legend area and you are using Date column in Axis area.
You will only get forecasting option when on x-axis you've used column that is of type datetime / number, it won't work with other data type columns. Also it requires more than six data points on x-axis to forecast.
