Fixed line chart to track yearly progress

Hello,    This will probably be pretty easy for most of you, but I'm trying to figure out how to do this in PBI Desktop and my brain just can't at the moment.  I am tracking the number of referrals...

    Hi ianallen13D ,

    Based on the description, try to create the new column to calculate goal.

    Cumulative Goal = 
VAR StartDate = DATE(2024, 7, 1)
VAR DailyGoal = 2.19
VAR CurrentDate = 'Table'[Date]
RETURN 
    (CurrentDate - StartDate + 1) * DailyGoal
    Cumulative Referrals = 
CALCULATE(
    SUM('Table'[Actual]),
    FILTER(
        'Table',
        'Table'[Date] <= EARLIER('Table'[Date])
    )
)
    Difference from Goal = 'Table'[Cumulative Referrals] - 'Table'[Cumulative Goal]

    Drag the column into the line chart.
