Fiscal Year Same month last year to Same month this year

Hi guys,

I was wondering how i would make a custom Fiscal Year Same month last year to Same month this year.

I use this formula to go from June last year to May this year but i want it to go from June to June

FY = IF('Calendar Table'[Date].[MonthNo]>5, 'Calendar Table'[Year] & " / " & 'Calendar Table'[Year]+1, 'Calendar Table'[Date].[Year]-1 & " / " & 'Calendar Table'[Date].[Year])

How can i do it so that it goes from June LY to June TY?

I want this column to show YYYY / YYYY and also my date column to have dates between June to June.

E.g for this year - it would be 2021 / 2022 and show 01/06/2021 to 31/06/2022

That would be 13 months for a year, are you sure about that?

@paulfink ,I did not get what you mean by june to june.

Based now what I got

year behind measure should work irrespective of the year start as long as they start and end on standard months

Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year))
Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Date'[Date]))

Ytd it matter example

YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD('Date'[Date],"5/31"))
Last YTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESYTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year),"5/31"))

hi @amitchandak sorry if there was a misunderstand.

This has nothing to do with calculating sales.

this is a general column in my calendar table just show what FY we are currently in.
