MSFT collects MSFT Teams Call usage in a SSAS-T warehouse. The data in that warehouse can be analysis in PowerBI Desktop (but not on in the PBI cloud service 😞 ).
We want to find out what the URL used for that PowerBI XMLA endpoint is, for example, the XMLA endpoints for our service look like:
powerbi://api.mil.powerbigov.us/v1.0/
But that is no the endpoint for the SSAS-T warehouse that one connects to to get the Teams Data.
Any help here?
Here is a MSFT article about the PowerBI connector that goes to the warehouse:
Install Power BI Connector to use CQD query templates - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
(we haver tried DAX studio, but that only lets us see as far as the local desktop app, not the target SSAS-T warehouse).
Hi, @DoctorYSG
In general, in the Power BI service, XMLA exists in the settings of the semantic model and in the settings of the workspace:
You can learn more about the following link:

You can also refer to the following documents for SSAS-T:

@Anonymous
Thank you, but as I mentioned the Teams Quality Dashboard (PBI) that MSFT provides cannot run in the cloud, they only allow their connector to run on desktop. So you cannot look at the cloud semantic model settings. It does not work there.
However, even though it cannot work in the cloud, and since it cannot make the XMLA connection from the cloud, I did think it was worth doing an upload of the PBIX and seeing what I could see in the semantic model settings.
But as shown below, there is no expando for Server Settings, so it really did not help.
So back to the question, is there a way of looking at PBI desktop, and peering into the semantic model, and getting the connenction string?
In PowerBI Desktop, if you open up the source in PowerQuery, this is all I see:
