Hi Guys,
I do not know if the name of the subject is right. I have filter and group data on multiple levels, and I hope to get it achieved in Dax, but I don’t know if I have to do anything in Powerquery. Don't need a full solution, just a hint what would be the best way to work with the data for the case.
I have the following Data:
Two tables, one with a unique key for an "contract" (RECNNR) and another one with multiple "conditions" for a "contract". The tables are linked by that RECNNR Key.
Within a contract you can find multiple Objects with the same OBJNR. A Condition has an CONDTYPE, a OBJNR can have multiple CONDTYPE's.
What I try to achieve:
I Try to find all OBJNR within RECNNR (OBJENR could be in different contracts) which have an D and E CONDTYPE.
To make this a little bit more interesting, I already have multiple filters which I need to keep (Year contract was active in, Condition valid from to and special OBJNR) and don’t want to build in PowerQuery:
If you are wondering, this is SAP RE-FX Data.
I’m glad for any ideas where I must start Dax or Powerquery.
Thanks
As soon as you talk filters you can only use DAX, and it must be measures.
Please provide sanitized sample data that fully covers your issue. If you paste the data into a table in your post or use one of the file services it will be easier to work with. Avoid posting screenshots of your source data if possible.
