I have two tables; one that is an application table that has columns such as channel, state, day of week, etc, and the other table is a grouped by hour table that has a running count of applications per day.
I want to be able to filter down by the columns on the application table while returning the results of the running table.
The tables are joined by ApplicationHourEst and have a 1 to many relationship since each individual hour is linked to many respective applications.
Also, I have cross filter direction sent to both (I know this can be tricky) because thats how I get accurate results in terms of my visualizations and runningtotal.
However, when I filter by state for instance, the visualization doesn't accurately change.
Please let me know if you need more information and thanks in advance.
@Anonymous
Do you use a measure on the visual that ignores the filter condition?
I can't see states in the 2 tables. If you mean status, you should be able to filter visual properly. Can you share a sample pbix since I am not able to reproduce your issue.
