Hey! I am very new at Power BI and I love it but, there is some kind of problem (or maybe I am doing something wrong) when I select the some data in a chart (i.e. number of sales this month) and with that selected I want to select other related data from other chart on the report (i.e sales by electronic department), it will give me the sales of the electronic department of ALL entries not only for this month (filter 1).
My question is, how could the program keep the previous filters and no loosing them across the selections?
Thanks!

Hey,
let's assume your report contains 3 visuals
Selecting the bar "A1" from "bar chart A" will filter all the other visuals, if you want to keep the selection from "bar chart A" if you mark a bar in "bar chart B", just hit the CTRL-key before you mark the bar in "bar chart B", let's assume you selected/marked bar "B1".
Now the line chart will be filtered by "A1" and "B1".
Hopefully this is what you are looking for.
Regards,
Tom

yeah!! you saved my day!! 🙂
Is there any option to make this behaviour as predeterm way of use the data?
What's the key to do this when your watching the report from a mobile device?
Thanks!!!
Hey,
unfortunately it's not possible to make this the default behavior.
This does not work if you are using touch, as far as I know. But maybe I'm wrong, you might be lucky that this is possible to use a "virtual" keyboard that is able to "lock" the CTRL-key.

Tom
