Filtering on table for only dimension

Hi all,

I want to check if it is possible to make filter on table only for 1 dimension.

My table visual have 2 dimension and 1 measure

I have another table on the same page. It looks like matrix and it has additional 1 measure.

I want to filter matrix table with selecting a row on table chart.

But I want to filter only invoice number. When I select a row on table component it is filtering matrix table for both material and invoice number.
As I think we should do that with out using interaction between tables but I don't have any idea about it.
(Also I added a Invoice Number Filter to page, I don't want to use it but my table chart should filter the matrix table like Invoice Number filter component. In summary I want to show all materials for only selected Invoice in matrix table)

I need help about this issue.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Maybe I understand what you think.

Based on what you said, you need to replicate a "test" table and not create a relationship.

The data in the table and matrix needs to come from these two different tables.

Refer to this sample.

Liang

Hi, I'm not sure I have followed all the conditions, but this might help

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-reports-visual-interactions

You can select what visualization will filter another one.
