Filtering Questions and Satisfaction Rate Using DAX

Hi,

Thank you for taking interest in my subject.

I have been struggling with this topic for days and I am running into different issues for Satisfaction Rate/Scores

I want to see how satisfied a student was by attending and taking his/her clinical class in a selected hostiptal and it's unit.

When student takes the survey they have to asnwer a question to select their hospital (agency) then another questions will be asked based on the agency they selected asking them which unit they attended in that hospital. After these 2 questions are answered, there are about 10 to 11 other questions however I only want certain questions (8 sets of questions that asks them about their satisfaciton to be in my satisfaction score calcualtion. I want to be able see an overall satisfaction rate for each respondent based on their responses for those 8 sets of question. Then eventually I want  to select an agency (from their selected response) then select the unit (from their response) and only see the satisfaction rate for that agency and unit by each questions (8 sets of qustions, which are highlighted in the image attached (like a likert scale). I had done this Tableau but being new to Power BI I am running into difficulties to even only see those 8 questions. I created a new column called questions and used conditional based on those questions ID but it's not working right. I have the dummy data linked in Google Drive attached. Any help or guidance will be much appreciate it.

I will be calculating the satisfaction rate for those eight questions based on the following measurment:

My satisfaction measurements are 1 = Strong Disagree to 4 = Strongly Agree However, I can't use the measurement because those numbers are also used for other responses, for instance if a student choose St. Jospeh hospital/agency for their clinical that St. Joseph could have a measurement of 4 so I have to use the exact Response text (option text) wording.

Satisfaction Response options are:

Strongly Agree

Somewhat Agree

Strong Disagree

Strongly Disagree

Somewhat Disagree

Not Applicable

Below highlighed questions are the ones I want to see in my table and eventually the satisfaction score.

I would appreciate any help or support to resolve this query!

Hi @fereshtehaghaei

I've read your description again and again and tried to understand your issue.

But there are something confused.

You said that you want to just see the 8 questions, do the questions have the sign or Filter criteria?

Then you said that the measurements are used by more than one reponses.

I suggest you keep the one to one relationship between measurements and the option text.

Or you can create a custom column in the power query to copy the measurements, then right-click the cells and replace the custom column to the right option text.

If I misunderstood your issue please reply me and describe in detailed so that we can help you better

Hi @Anonymous Thank you for taking the time and looking into this. I will give a better explanation below, I hope it is less confusing this time:

When a student takes a survey they have to asnwer a question that is asking them which hosptial they attended, then another questions will be asked based on the agency they selected asking them which unit they attended in that hospital. After these 2 questions are answered, there are about 10 to 11 other questions however I only want certain questions (8 sets of questions that asks them about their experience, which later it will be used in my satisfaction score calcualtion). I want to be able see an overall satisfaction rate for each respondent based on their responses for those 8 sets of question. Then eventually I want  to select a hosptial name (from their survey response) then select the unit (from their survey response) and only see the satisfaction rate for that agency and unit by each questions (8 sets of qustions, which are highlighted in the image attached (like a likert scale).
