Hi, I have a question on filtering. In the image below I have a filter for Manager. In the report I have the Manager field which is the third drill down for this matrix. What I need to do is allow a manager to filter on Manager then show not just their records where they are a Manager, but the other managers for the Level 1 field. So on the first example if Level 1 is John Smith and he had 3 managers for these weeks, one of them being me, I can filter for myself and then all Level 1 which had me show, including other managers for that Level 1, does that make sense?
Basically, when I use the Manager filter I want to get all the rows for a given employee where I am at least one of the Employees manager for that week. So as an example, if I select Chris F for Manager in my filter, or however, I would get all the records for John Smith below (4 rows), but nothing returned for Mary Alto. Right now the filter will just return one record, the one for Chris F
Hope this helps somewhat.
Employee Name | Manager |
John Smith | Roland Moore |
John Smith | Roland Moore |
John Smith | Chris F |

Mary Alto | Robert Smith |

so you don't want to filter by manager. you want to filter by employee and then "filter up" to the next higher level. Formulate a measure accordingly. You may also need to use disconnected tables.
Make sure your report users understand what you are doing as it is contrary to expected "standard" UX.
