Filter table from visual on only one column not all?

I have a map visual and I am plotting the most recent event by location.

That works great, I have a filter "Is Most Recent Event" and I place that on the map visual filter with =YES.

However, I want to display a table under the map showing ALL events for the selected map location.

When I click on a point on the map it filteres the table for that location, but it also filters it on the "Is Most Recent Event" = YES.

I instead want to see all the events for that selected map location.

Is there a way I can control what values are used to cross filter on visuals?

EDIT: Clarification -

I tried adjusting the visual interactions as described here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-reports-visual-interactions  However, that does not work in my case as I do not want to STOP all interaction, I just want to specifically select which columns are used when cross filtering.

Hi @OneWithQuestion,

I made one sample for your refernce. Please check the following steps as below.

1. Create a calculated table.

new = CALCULATETABLE(Table1)

2. To create a table visual using the calculated table. After that we need to Create a measure as below and filther the table visual using the new measure.

Measure = var con = SELECTEDVALUE(Table1[construction])
var cons = MAX(new[construction])
return
IF(ISBLANK(con),1,IF(con=cons,1,0))

Hello - did you ever find a solution to this? I am trying to achieve the same functionality but am not seeing how the posted solution accomplishes that. Thanks.
