I found this topic and there was no answer to if this is possible (maybe with updates now?)
You can format visual interactions, meaning that if you click in a column another visual will only present what you clicked on.
Is it possible for me to click a column in a matrix table and have a filter enabled for that table. I don't mean greying out I mean actually showing all values related to the column I clicked?
Example (sensitive info so I can't show the table)
Below shows: Description, Relation and Entrynumber.
I open a description, then I click on a relation row. This relation is present in more than one description.
I want the table to be filtered this specific relation and open all descriptions where this relation is present.
It's possible with right-click > drill down and then removing the upper filter as shown below
But I want to remove those inbetween steps..

@Anonymous - Extremely difficult to follow but maybe a report page tooltip? You could pass in the informatioon you needed to the tooltip but override context if necessary.
