I have two data sets with varying data. Both tables have the same unique ID and matching date columns. Table1 has data going back 5 years, whereas Table2 has data going back 3 years, the issue with Table2 is the start date ranges can differ from Table1. If Table1 has ID #1 and #2 going back 5 years, Table2 may have #1 3 years and #2 18 months. I want to filter Table1 [Sales] for the effecitve start date range based off Table2. When creating a relationshp between these queries I receive the total sum from Table1 for every month with Table2 start date.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I'm a little confused about your needs, Could you please explain them further? It would be good to provide a screenshot of the results you are expecting and desensitized example data.
Thanks for your efforts & time in advance.
