Filter one table based on slicer value of another table in PowerBI?
I want to filter Table2 on the basis of values selected in Table1 without creating any relationship between two tables.
For example,
Table1 has column: A with values {1,2,3}
Table2 has column: B {1,2,3,4,5,6,1,...} and C {a,c,b,d,e,s,d...}
If I select "1" from Table1 then Table2 should get filtered without creating relationship. How to do the same?

Hi @Anonymous ,
To create a measure as below and make the visual filtered by it.
Measure = var a = VALUES(Table1[column A]) return IF(MAX(Table2[Column B]) in a, 1,0)

What if we have more than 1 filter in table 1? Example, if we have 2 columns in Table 1 and we want only the values of Table 2 that meet the filter criteria applied in Table 1

Hello,
Can you please explain how the DAX expression works?
I am particulary confused by the logical test in the IF statement.
Thank you!
