Filter measure dates relative to date slicer

Hi All.

Hope you guys can help me with this.

Usualle when i need to deduct or add 2 colums, i make a Sum meassure of each column, and then add them.

This has always worked, but for some reason, i now have a sum meassure that does not respond correctly to a date slicer.

the formula i am using is just this

Sales (LCY) Sum = SUM('N_S_SYSTEM$Cust_ Ledger Entry'[Sales (LCY)])

In the picture, you can see the sum function and the coloumn.

if i add the date, it will show the same amount on all dates, and ignoring the slicer. but the original column perform as i expect it to.

Hope you can help me understand why this is happening, and how to avoid it.

Thank you in advance.

@Thim,

Which date field do you drag to the chart and which date field do you use to create slicer?

I am unable to reproduce your issue using my sample tables. Could you please share dummy data of your table or PBIX file for us to test? You can share PBIX file via online service such as OneDrive.

Regards,
Lydia
