Filter graph for previous 6 months and next 6 months

I need my graph to display previous 6 months and next 6 months. The graph is counting how many people joined a project within a month and how many leave. Therefore i have 2 dates connected to my DimCalander and use USERELTATIONSHIP in my measures to count joiners and leavers. 

I have tried adding the date twice in the filter pane and selecting next 6 months and last 6 months but this gives a blank visual.
