10 months experience in Power BI, but still learning a new thing every day. I'm trying to use the Datahub more to reduce the amount of data stored in the Power BI service. I want to reuse the datetimetimezone table that I made in one of my earlier dashboards. To do this, I go to Datahub -> Power BI Datahub -> select the dataset with the datetimetimezone table -> click connect. In the menu that pops up, I select the datetimetimezone table and click send. It sets up a DirectQuery with the dataset and it is all loaded well and fine.
However, I do not need the time- and timezone-part of that table in the new dashboard. So I want to filter the table down to only one date per row and remove the other timezone columns (see the list of columns in the picture below). I thought it would be possible to do this by filtering the dataset so it only "directqueries" the date with the 12AM timestamp. But I can not find a way to edit the DirectQuery connection made through the Power BI datahub to add such filter.
Does anyone know how to do this? or is this even possible?
