I have a table of data which I want to filter the other diagrams with it. So I am using a slicer. But I don't want to show all data in the slicer but just a filtered version of it. How can I do this?
Before the June update there was a hack where you could first create a table diagram with the data, then filter it and convert it to a slicer to have a visual filter. But now it is not working!!
Does anyone know a workaround?

How about apply a filter on the same column in the filters pane on the right of the canvas. Just filter out the items you don't want to see in the slicer, and you will just see the others.

MattAllington’s idea should be a good solution and you can also vote this idea in following two links.
