Filter a map by year range
Hello everyone.
I have a file with data organized by year ranges. For example: number of parties per city in a range of years (2020-2025, 2026-2030). How can I show on a map the number of parties of each city in each range of years?
I tried to place a slicer with each range of years, but I get the data of each city and it is not filtered by range of years.

Anonymous the best is to unpivot your data:
transform data -> select first 3 columns -> right click -> Unpivot other columns
it will give you two new columns attribute and value, rename as you see fit, attribute will be your years.
close and apply
and now you can use the attribute column for the slicer and visualize the data the way you want.
